The Boston School (Stravinsky School) is a group of (primarily) Jewish composers from Boston influenced by Igor Stravinsky's neoclassicism.
Many of them studied with Nadia Boulanger. Fine described the music of Stravinsky and his followers as "diatonic and tonal or quasi-modal", pandiatonic, and concerned with chord spacing and rhythm.
